30 Years of Lorraine Lions

A Strong Pride. From our first day in 1996 to the 2026–27 school year, here's how the Lorraine Elementary community has grown — and where we're heading next.

1996Lorraine Elementary

A brief history

Lorraine Elementary has been a cornerstone of Stockbridge and Rockdale County for nearly three decades. What began as a new school with a lion mascot has grown into a community of families, teachers, and neighbors who show up for one another every day.

The PTO formed to support the same values students live in the classroom: be Respectful, Organized for success, Actively engaged, and Responsible citizens. Over the years, that mission has translated into funded classroom resources, teacher appreciation, family events, and the spirit wear that turns our hallways gold and navy.
