About Us

Home of the Lions since 1996.

Lorraine Elementary has served Stockbridge and Rockdale County families for nearly three decades. The PTO is here to make every one of those years stronger.

About the school

Lorraine Elementary opened its doors in 1996 and has been a cornerstone of the Stockbridge community ever since. Our school is led by Principal Samantha Carlisle, and our halls are full of curious, kind, and proud Lions.

Every Lion lives the ROAR code — Respectful, Organized for success, Actively engaged, and Responsible citizens. It shapes how students show up in the classroom, and it shapes how the PTO shows up for them.

The 30th Anniversary · 2026–2027

Our 2026–2027 school year marks 30 years of Lorraine Elementary. We're celebrating with a retro-90s theme across spirit wear, events, and a memory box on display in the library. Watch for tribute moments honoring longtime staff like Ms. Stover, and join us as we look at what 30 years later looks like.

What the PTO means

We take our cue from the school's ROAR code — the same values our students live every day.

ROAR · Respectful

For the school

Funding programs and resources the school budget can't cover, and showing up for staff with the respect Lorraine has earned over 30 years.

ROAR · Actively engaged

For students

Enrichment, events, and experiences that keep Lions actively engaged — from the Fun Run to clubs, spirit nights, and field trips.

ROAR · Organized for success

For parents

A simple, organized way to get involved, connect with other families, and have a voice in school life — no guesswork required.

ROAR · Respectful

For teachers

Appreciation, classroom support, and help with supplies and events so teachers can focus on what they do best.

ROAR · Responsible citizens

For the community

Partnerships with local Stockbridge families and businesses that model responsible citizenship for every Lion watching.
