Who we are
The Lorraine Elementary PTO ("Les Lions PTO") is a parent–teacher organization supporting Lorraine Elementary in Stockbridge, Georgia. This website helps families learn about the school, register for events, join the PTO, and shop spirit wear.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, such as:
- Name and email when you join the PTO, subscribe to the newsletter, or contact us.
- Event registration details (attendee name, child's grade/teacher when relevant).
- Volunteer interests and teacher-request sign-ups you submit through our forms.
- Order details when you purchase spirit wear or tickets.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to run PTO activities.
How we use it
- To process event registrations, orders, and volunteer sign-ups.
- To send newsletters and PTO announcements you have opted into.
- To respond to messages you send through the Contact form.
We do not sell or rent your information.
Payments
Online payments (event tickets, spirit wear) are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored on our servers. Please review Stripe's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment information.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to operate the site:
- Hosting and database for the website and our sign-up forms.
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Email delivery for newsletters and transactional messages.
Security practices
- Traffic to leslionsden.com is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Account passwords are hashed by our authentication provider — we never see them.
- Database access is protected by row-level security so people only see data they are allowed to see.
- Administrative areas require sign-in and an assigned admin role.
No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to follow current best practices.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for parents, guardians, staff, and PTO supporters — not for direct use by children. Where a form asks about a child (for example, grade or teacher for an event), that information is provided by an adult on the child's behalf and is used only to coordinate the activity.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time using the link in any email.
- You can ask us to update or delete information you submitted by contacting the PTO.
